A lone car on a winding Himalayan road

A trip planned for the people taking it.

No fixed packages. No per-head menu. You tell us who is travelling and what they care about. We plan around that, and run it while you go.

What you get

Not a package chosen from a list, but a plan that did not exist before you got in touch.

One person who knows your trip from the first email through to your return, the same voice each time you call.

Every flight, room and transfer booked and confirmed by us, so nothing is left for you to chase.

Someone reachable on the ground for the whole trip, in the country with you rather than a call centre in another time zone.

When a road floods in Kerala or a booking falls through in Hanoi, the person who sorts it is the one who planned your trip. Not a call centre. Not a stranger.

A day, as it runs.

Lunch somewhere found, not searched for.

The day debriefed; tomorrow adjusted around you.

The visit after the gates close. The right guide rather than the available one. The table that was supposedly full. These come from twenty-five years of relationships rather than a search result, and they are most of what you are paying for. When the route earns it, that includes the Maharajas' Express and the Palace on Wheels.

Mobility, health and access needs are planned into the route from the first draft: the right rooms, the right vehicles, and a pace set by the people travelling rather than the schedule.

For women travelling alone or together, the arrangements are exact: drivers we have used for years, female guides on request, and one contact reachable through the whole trip.

01

We talk

You tell us who is travelling, when, and what matters. A planning fee starts the work and is credited toward your trip.

02

We design

A private plan built around your travellers rather than a catalogue. We revise it until it is right.

03

We run it

Every booking made, every transfer confirmed, one contact reachable while you travel.

Why there's a planning fee

Good planning is real work, so it begins with a planning fee, credited toward your trip when you travel with us. It also means the people who reach us are the ones who are serious, which is how we keep our attention where it belongs.

What does a trip cost?

Every trip is quoted for the party travelling, the season and the houses chosen, so there is no set figure to publish. Write to us with dates and party and you will have an honest number quickly.

Is the planning fee refundable?

It is credited toward the trip when you travel with us. If the trip does not go ahead, the fee stays with the work done.

How do payments work?

By bank transfer. A deposit confirms the trip and the balance is due before departure, with the exact amounts set out in your quote.

How far ahead should we write?

Three to six months suits most trips. Peak season and the best houses go early, though late is always worth asking.

Do you book international flights?

Those usually stay with you or your agent. Everything inside the trip is ours, internal flights included.

Do you take groups?

This is where we do our best work. Multi-generational families, milestone trips, parties of eight or more: we built for the complexity that makes most operators nervous.

This suits people who already know what they do not want.

If you are weighing three quotes on price, we are probably the wrong house. If you want one plan you can trust, and a person answerable for it, write to us.
